一、單位簡介
生物島實驗室成立于2017年12月22日，是廣東省以培育創(chuàng)建國家實驗室、打造國家實驗室“預備隊”為目標啟動建設的首批省實驗室之一，2019年6月獲批為省級登記事業(yè)單位。
生物島實驗室面向國家和廣東省重大戰(zhàn)略需求，聯(lián)合大灣區(qū)優(yōu)勢科研單位和眾多國際頂尖科研力量，瞄準干細胞與再生醫(yī)學理論與技術(shù)的前沿研究，布局再生醫(yī)學前沿基礎研究、臨床創(chuàng)新研究、生物信息、生物安全研究以及高端生物醫(yī)療器械耗材研發(fā)五大科研方向，邀請了24位國內(nèi)外院士加入，引入1200 余人、52個創(chuàng)新合作團隊，形成了一支高水平研究隊伍。生物島實驗室立足國際化、高起點，致力于建設重大科技基礎設施和平臺，打造再生醫(yī)學與健康前沿研究基地、臨床應用基地、成果轉(zhuǎn)化及產(chǎn)業(yè)化基地和高水平人才基地，推動生物醫(yī)藥與健康產(chǎn)業(yè)高質(zhì)量發(fā)展；同時，高度重視國際合作，積極搭建馬普組織干細胞與再生醫(yī)學研究中心等國際合作中心，深度參與大灣區(qū)建設，爭取成為大灣區(qū)打造世界級科技創(chuàng)新中心的重要組成部分。
二、課題組簡介
閔明瑋研究員，2010年于四川大學取得學士學位，2014年于劍橋大學取得博士學位，隨后在哈佛醫(yī)學院和科羅拉多大學（Boulder）完成博士后訓練，2020年受聘為生物島實驗室細胞命運與譜系研究中心研究員。前期工作主要專注于細胞增殖等基本的命運調(diào)控過程，未來將探索發(fā)育和抗壓等生理病理過程中更廣義的細胞命運決定。相關(guān)研究成果以第一或通迅作者發(fā)表在Science、PLoS Biology、Cell Reports、Molecular & Cellular Proteomics和 Molecular Biology of the Cell等國際知名期刊上。
實驗室主要專注于細胞命運決定的研究。細胞是解讀遺傳信息的基本生命單位，通過與環(huán)境的相互作用，細胞和通過分裂產(chǎn)生的譜系把基因組里的信息轉(zhuǎn)化成有生命的有機體。在構(gòu)建有機體的發(fā)育過程中以及在多變的環(huán)境中維持生命穩(wěn)態(tài)的過程中，細胞命運都在時間與空間層面上被嚴格地調(diào)控。我們將利用高通量活細胞成像和計算機輔助跟蹤技術(shù)，獲取細胞變化中時間和空間上的關(guān)鍵信息，通過在時空上精細可控的操作來探索系統(tǒng)組織中細胞譜系發(fā)生和變化的因果關(guān)系。我們的長期目標是建立可定量的理論模型來實現(xiàn)對細胞命運變化的解釋與預測，為我們了解基本的生命活動過程 - 微觀分子，物理和化學層面的信息如何導致宏觀表型的變化 - 提供理論框架，同時基于這些理論框架對疾病提出有效可行的干預手段。我們誠邀對相關(guān)問題感興趣，有生物學，數(shù)理，工程或計算機背景，熱愛科學研究的青年才俊加入我們。
三、崗位需求及應聘條件
副研究員/博士后，2人
崗位職責：
1.參與研究課題設計，主導科研工作；
2.指導及幫助實驗室其他成員的工作，參與實驗室內(nèi)部以及與其它實驗室的合作；
3.通過撰寫論文，作會議報告等方式交流自己的工作；
4.獨立或協(xié)助申請國內(nèi)外的科研項目。
應聘條件：
1.對生物學有濃厚的興趣，有強烈的好奇心；
2.擁有或即將獲得生物、數(shù)理或工程博士學位，博士后獲得博士學位不超過三年，年齡35歲以下，副研究員有至少兩年博士后經(jīng)歷；

5.至少一項以下的專長/經(jīng)驗：
1）分子、細胞、發(fā)育生物學，特別是細胞重編程及分化等命運改變模型，細胞通信，不對稱分裂，壓力反應；

崗位職責：
根據(jù)課題或項目需求，主導或協(xié)助完成科研工作。

協(xié)助課題組的圖像處理方法開發(fā)和數(shù)據(jù)分析

Postdoc and research associate positions available in the Min Lab at the Bioland Laboratory
Multiple postdoc and research associate positions are available in the Min Lab in the Center for Cell Lineage and Atlas (CCLA) at the Bioland Laboratory (Guangzhou Regenerative Medicine and Health Guangdong Laboratory, GRMH-GDL), starting fall 2021. The Bioland Laboratory, founded on 22nd December 2017, operates as a public research institution in Guangdong Province. It is one of the first provincial laboratories to be developed as a national laboratory.
Research in the Min lab is focused on understanding how cells make fate decisions based on their genetic blueprints, internal cell states and environmental signals. Cells and their lineages transform the genetic information into living organisms. Cell fate decisions lie in the heart of the developmental processes that build the organisms, and the homeostatic processes that facilitate their adaptation to changing environments. We seek to understand how these decisions are regulated in the temporal and spatial domain. To do this, we use high-throughput live-cell microscopy and cell tracking to collect quantitative information. We probe the causal organization of cells by temporally controlled perturbations and modeling. Our long-term goal is to establish quantitative and predictive theories of cell fate decision. We hope to provide a framework to understand how molecular interactions at the microscopic scale are connected to cellular phenotypes, and how diseases arise when these processes are mis-regulated.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be expected to engage in defining specific research programs in any of the above research areas and undertake these with colleagues in a multi-disciplinary team. Considerable independence is expected, with anticipation of a growing role in leadership of the research project. In addition, you will be expected to contribute substantially to writing scientific papers and to attracting external research funding.
Essential requirements
Postdoc and research associate: you will hold (or be close to completing) a PhD in biology, math, physics or engineering. You will be curious, ambitious, and passionate to tackle challenging problems. You must have excellent communication skills. Experience in cell biology, developmental biology, image processing, single-cell omics data analysis, or light sheet microscopy is highly desirable.
Salary and benefits
We provide internationally competitive salary: Research Associates 350,000+ RMB per annum; Postdocs 300,000+ RMB per annum per annum according to experience. Social security, health insurance and other benefits will be provided in high standard.
