IBM (China) Chip Design Center Engineers are working on cutting edge SoC (System on a Chip), ASIC, Chipset, Digital Signal and Embedded Processor, Silicon Analog/Digital/Mixed-Signal IP, and EDA tools and methodology development for our clients inside and outside of IBM. By em-ploying the industry leading tools, methodology, and semiconductor technologies ranging from 90nm to 45nm and beyond, you will be participating in the delivery of end to end semiconductor solutions including architecture design and performance analysis/tuning, frontend logic design and verification, backend implementation and optimization, analog/digital/mixed-signal circuit analysis and design, EDA & methodology development, foundry application support, as well as chip pro-totype and hardware validation. The application of the chips covers a wide range from Digital Me-dia and Consumer Electronics (DTV, STB, Gaming, Digital Camera, etc...), Communication (wireless, highend Router, Switcher, etc...), Office Automation (Highend Printer engine, etc), Automotive Electronics, and High Performance Computing, etc...
Job Requirements:
1. CS/EE or background in digital or analog Chip Design related areas

13 Job Title: IBM Multicore Technology Developer/Tester
Job Responsibilities:
IBM (China) Multicore Technology development team is working on cutting edge multicore soft-ware development for customers inside/outside IBM. Currently the team is focusing on SDK and ecosystem development for PowerXCell8i processor, which is based on an enhanced version of the Cell/B.E. architecture. Engineers in the team is responsible for software development/testing for IBM SDK for Multicore Development, as well as other applications in customer specific domain areas (HPC, Image Processing, Networking, Digital Media... ). The job scope will be extended to software/firmware development/testing of other IBM multicore product in the future.
Job Requirements:
1. CS/EE or equivalent background in software development/testing

我的藍(lán)色之夢(mèng)

IBM CSTL
05年3月份，對(duì)于剛剛完成碩士學(xué)位、跨出校門的我來(lái)說(shuō)，加入IBM是我覺(jué)得倍感自豪的事情。這不僅僅是因?yàn)镮BM是國(guó)際知名IT企業(yè)，更因?yàn)�，她給了我家的感覺(jué)。
04年底，當(dāng)我還只是上海Lotus小組實(shí)習(xí)生的時(shí)候，和我一同實(shí)習(xí)的同班同學(xué)Java得了血液上的病，對(duì)于本就是單親家庭的Java來(lái)說(shuō)，這無(wú)異于是一場(chǎng)災(zāi)難。但是，當(dāng)時(shí)的經(jīng)理Christine女士召集所有能召集的同事向Java和他的母親伸出了援助之手，并盡最大的可能提供幫助。雖然最后Java還是離開(kāi)了這個(gè)世界，但是IBM的人文關(guān)愛(ài)精神深深打動(dòng)了我，也感染了我，讓我堅(jiān)信IBM正是我此生要追隨的偉大企業(yè)。
從大學(xué)時(shí)代開(kāi)始，做一名優(yōu)秀的軟件架構(gòu)師就一直是我的夢(mèng)想。我盼望著有一天能像先后在Boland公司架構(gòu)了Delphi，在Microsoft公司架構(gòu)了.NET的Anders一樣，成為IT界最最頂尖的架構(gòu)師。三年多來(lái)，IBM公司一直都在幫助我追逐著我的夢(mèng)想。
21世紀(jì)最貴的是人才。在IBM，最讓我覺(jué)得彌足珍貴的就是那種以人為本的氛圍。公司不僅僅只著力于讓員工如何去為公司贏取最大利潤(rùn)，而是更加注重對(duì)于員工自身的培養(yǎng)。在工作滿兩年的時(shí)候，經(jīng)理來(lái)和我共同討論我以后的職業(yè)規(guī)劃：走管理路線，還是走技術(shù)路線。我毫不猶豫地選擇走技術(shù)路線，從那一天起，公司的經(jīng)理團(tuán)隊(duì)開(kāi)始不停地開(kāi)始幫助我，指導(dǎo)我，為我選擇合適的培訓(xùn)課程：“Presentation skill”，“Negotiation skill”，……讓我在職業(yè)素養(yǎng)方面迅速成長(zhǎng)起來(lái)。
中國(guó)的研發(fā)實(shí)驗(yàn)室還是相對(duì)比較年輕的，所以IBM中國(guó)就更加注重對(duì)于技術(shù)人才的儲(chǔ)備。公司不僅從國(guó)外引入資深的技術(shù)專家來(lái)幫助本地人才的成長(zhǎng)，還為本地人才精心規(guī)劃了一條職業(yè)發(fā)展的技術(shù)路線。從小團(tuán)隊(duì)的技術(shù)組長(zhǎng)，到大團(tuán)隊(duì)的技術(shù)領(lǐng)隊(duì)，還專門到國(guó)外和其它國(guó)家的同事進(jìn)行合作和交流，公司的經(jīng)理團(tuán)隊(duì)不停地在項(xiàng)目中賦予我新的責(zé)任，讓我得到越來(lái)越多錘煉。此外，IBM每年都會(huì)在各個(gè)地方舉辦很多的技術(shù)交流峰會(huì)，當(dāng)自己的投稿被錄取而被邀請(qǐng)去做演講的時(shí)候，那份喜悅則是對(duì)自己之前努力的最好回報(bào)。
在IBM，“創(chuàng)新”無(wú)疑是被人最為津津樂(lè)道的詞了。IBM提供了各種各樣的創(chuàng)新途徑：developer works專門收錄刊登有價(jià)值的技術(shù)文章；alpha works專門收錄并發(fā)布有價(jià)值的可運(yùn)行工具、系統(tǒng)；AI則和電子工業(yè)出版社合作出版技術(shù)書籍，幫助員工實(shí)現(xiàn)作家夢(mèng)；公司還非常鼓勵(lì)員工發(fā)明并申請(qǐng)專利。對(duì)于每一項(xiàng)創(chuàng)新，公司都給予很高的獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。這一切的一切，讓每一個(gè)人都覺(jué)得很有成就感，很享受，也很有動(dòng)力。
路漫漫，其修遠(yuǎn)兮，我知道距離我最終的夢(mèng)想還有很大的距離，還有很多高峰要去攀登，還有很多困難要去克服。但是我相信，只要在IBM，我的夢(mèng)想就不會(huì)遙遠(yuǎn)，只要在IBM，我的夢(mèng)想就一定能實(shí)現(xiàn)。

碌碌而非無(wú)為

窗外，雨打屋檐，夜風(fēng)，已不再黏人，空氣中有新鮮的泥土味。燈光，淡黃而溫暖，思緒卻早已回到多年前…….
十幾歲離開(kāi)家鄉(xiāng)，異地求學(xué)，他鄉(xiāng)工作。這大抵和正讀著這些文字的朋友們有著相似的經(jīng)歷，便權(quán)當(dāng)以游子的感觸和我的朋友們聊聊腳下的路吧。
1994年我從湖南的一個(gè)小鎮(zhèn)來(lái)到西安交通大學(xué)讀書，西北的豪邁在我的性格里烙下了無(wú)處可尋又無(wú)處不在的痕跡。讀書的日子，清苦卻愉悅，以至于到現(xiàn)在我還難以割舍校園情懷。但象牙塔里終究沒(méi)有圣斗士，11年后，我開(kāi)始面臨人生的抉擇。從校園到社會(huì)，不過(guò)是我一生中的一小步，選擇什么樣的就業(yè)單位卻是影響我人生的一大步。好在我沒(méi)有什么選擇的煩惱，因?yàn)槲业那舐殞?duì)象單一而明確。
這是一個(gè)友愛(ài)且寬容的世界。IBM有一種寬松包容的氛圍，這不僅僅表現(xiàn)在它沒(méi)有千人一律、分秒必爭(zhēng)的坐班制度，更表現(xiàn)在對(duì)個(gè)人的尊重，對(duì)興趣的鼓勵(lì)。那時(shí)我還總有些學(xué)生氣，討論會(huì)上不時(shí)語(yǔ)出驚人，口無(wú)遮攔，肆意表達(dá)甚至錯(cuò)誤的技術(shù)觀點(diǎn)，而我的同事們?nèi)砸杂焉坪凸膭?lì)包容了我的無(wú)知和沖動(dòng)。在IBM中，我常常感到一起工作的，不僅僅是同事，更是同一戰(zhàn)壕的兄弟。因而大家常常以各種“別開(kāi)生面”的借口互相請(qǐng)客吃飯，而這種融洽，讓有過(guò)學(xué)校集體生活的人倍感親切。
這也是一個(gè)高手如云的江湖。IBM中有很多具有傳奇色彩的人物，有很多人你只在書本報(bào)紙雜志或者網(wǎng)絡(luò)上才看到他。但I(xiàn)BM沒(méi)有森嚴(yán)的等級(jí)，沒(méi)有樊籬和窠臼，你大可以直接聯(lián)系他們，向他們請(qǐng)教技術(shù)難題，請(qǐng)他們作你的導(dǎo)師，抑或約個(gè)空閑時(shí)間一起吃飯聊天。我很享受這種豐潤(rùn)舒適的環(huán)境，恍若行走江湖，卻可博采眾家，博學(xué)所長(zhǎng)。只要你堅(jiān)持，野球拳也有練過(guò)九陰真經(jīng)的那一天。
這還是一個(gè)切身所感的地球村。IBM在全球100多個(gè)國(guó)家擁有30多萬(wàn)員工，無(wú)以數(shù)計(jì)的產(chǎn)品和項(xiàng)目都是跨國(guó)界跨時(shí)區(qū)合作開(kāi)展的。在這個(gè)地球村里，每周和國(guó)外的同事開(kāi)上三四次越洋電話會(huì)議，嘰里咕嚕說(shuō)上幾個(gè)小時(shí)的英文幾乎就是常態(tài)，絕大部分書信往來(lái)也都是英文溝通交流。在這樣的氛圍里，你耳濡目染各種外來(lái)文化，對(duì)國(guó)際化合作更有了生動(dòng)而切身的感受。
這更是一個(gè)技術(shù)人才的樂(lè)園。各種技術(shù)專題的講座令人眼花繚亂，汗牛充棟的技術(shù)資料讓人有廢寢忘食的沖動(dòng)，而身邊無(wú)處不是藏龍臥虎的人才。那段日子，每天的時(shí)間安排得滿滿當(dāng)當(dāng)，跑著聽(tīng)了很多講座，干完了安排的任務(wù)，便盡情在內(nèi)部網(wǎng)站上翻閱各種技術(shù)文檔。時(shí)常還可以和各路高手討教問(wèn)題，分享經(jīng)驗(yàn)。在IBM這幾年，是我技術(shù)成長(zhǎng)最快的幾年，也是形成我技術(shù)觀點(diǎn)的幾年。
加入IBM后，工作雖然忙碌，收獲卻也頗多，只言片語(yǔ)，不一而足。個(gè)中滋味，我的朋友們不妨親身來(lái)體驗(yàn)，這或許就正是你想要的生活！
前幾天，有一個(gè)同事去懷柔郊游。途徑一農(nóng)貿(mào)小集市，遂下車購(gòu)時(shí)鮮水果。正買著，被兩位外國(guó)游客拉住，打探一個(gè)名不見(jiàn)經(jīng)傳的旅游小景點(diǎn)。我這朋友頗有些意外，集市上有不少出來(lái)郊游的人，不解為何單單尋到自己。后來(lái)一聊，才知道，原來(lái)我這位朋友當(dāng)日穿了一件印有IBM Logo的T恤！這讓我有些感慨，歷經(jīng)百年的風(fēng)雨，IBM已不僅僅是一個(gè)公司，更是一個(gè)象征、一種信賴。
雨已住，夜未央，而燈光依舊明亮。 |
